Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and troubleshooting the malfunction of running applications as a second level support
- Investigating and handling customers reported Issues, Requests and Inquiries.
- Reporting any production related issue to internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining the availability of 24/7 production environments.
- Installation and deployments of new releases/fixes of payment systems applications.
- Handling the out of work hours calls and notifications related to production issues in addition to planned maintenance activities on production environments based on the predefined On Call Matrix.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge in querying databases (SQL).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Good knowledge about client/server communication, API, Web services, and XML.
- Experience working with UNIX/Linux operating system.
- Experience in Shell scripting.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- The ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical customers in a professional manner.
- Sets an example of integrity, ethical behavior and professionalism.
- Knowledge of one or more of ISO 8583, Financial Transactions Processing, Mobile Payment, and Instant Payment is a plus.
